In the Ground Zero mosque debate, defenders of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf have pointed out that in 2003 the FBI brought him in to help train its agents — so how radical could he be?
The first problem is that Rauf’s “help” turned out to be worse than worthless. The bigger problem is that the FBI has a rotten record when it comes to identifying moderate Muslims — as opposed to ones who are happy to feed non-Muslims the pabulum they’re willing to swallow.
Start with Rauf and the FBI. He was brought into the New York field office to give at least four sessions of sensitivity training.
Questionable emissary: The State Department trusted Feisal Abdul Rauf (center) and sent him to the Arab Gulf last week as a goodwill ambassador, but the record raises doubts.

In the intifada that began in 2000, Palestinian terrorism killed more than 1,000 Israelis. As a portion of US population, that would be 42,000, approaching the toll of America’s eight years in Vietnam. During the onslaught, which began 10 Septembers ago, Israeli parents sending two children to a school would put them on separate buses to decrease the chance that neither would return for dinner.
Surely most Americans can imagine, even if their tone-deaf leaders can’t, how grating it is when those leaders lecture Israel on the need to take “risks for peace.”
During Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s July visit to Washington, President Obama praised him as “willing to take risks for peace.” There was a time when that meant swapping “land for peace” — Israel sacrificing something tangible and irrecoverable, strategic depth, in exchange for something intangible and perishable, promises of diplomatic normality.
Strategic depth matters in a nation where almost everyone is a soldier, so society cannot function for long with the nation fully mobilized.
Also, before the 1967 Six-Day War, Israel within the borders established by the 1949 armistice was in one place just nine miles wide (a fact that moved George W. Bush to say, “in Texas we have driveways that long”). Israel exchanged a lot of land to achieve a chilly peace with Egypt — yielding the Sinai, which is almost three times larger than Israel and was 89 percent of the land captured in the process of repelling the 1967 aggression. President Obama comes out in support of Ground Zero mosque

President Obama strongly backed the mosque planned near Ground Zero as he celebrated Ramadan with Muslim Americans at the White House – saying it shows that America’s commitment to to religious tolerance is “unshakeable.”
“Let me be clear: as a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country. That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances,” Obama said in his first comments on the controversy.
“This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable. The principle that people of all faiths are welcome in this country, and will not be treated differently by their government is essential to who we are. In the greatest party-affiliation cover-up since the media tried to portray Gary Condit as a Republican, the media are refusing to mention the party affiliation of the thieving government officials in Bell, Calif.
There have been hundreds of news stories about Bell city officials’ jaw-dropping salaries. In this poor city on the outskirts of Los Angeles, where the per capita annual income is $24,800 a year, the city manager, Robert Rizzo, had a salary of $787,637.
That’s about twice what the president of the United States makes. (To be fair, Rizzo was doing a better job.)
Rizzo was the highest-paid government employee in the entire country, not counting Maxine Waters’ husband — pending further revelations. With benefits, his total annual compensation, according to the Los Angeles Times, came to $1.5 million a year. Continue Reading »

Michelle O: Sculpted Bust of the WORST LADY
That’s right folks. Michelle Obama is no First Lady. She’s not a lady by any stretch of the imagination. However, she is the worst bitch to ever reside in the white house, even worse than Hillbillary Clintstone (Hillary Clinton for all you dolts) who was a she devil.
Here’s Michelle as you’ve never seen her before. She’s been given a dramatic makeover by a US sculptor. Artist Daniel Edwards created a bare-shouldered bust of the 45-year-old lawyer which prominently displays her breasts, on top of which rests a tattoo of the American flag. An ‘Afro-pick’ hair clip fashioned in the style of an eagle sticks out of her head. The clay work, titled “Michelle Obama’s Makeover for America”, went on display at New York’s Leo Kesting Gallery at the start of October 2008.
But she’s no Nefertiti. Like his African dad, Obama seems to prefer ugly chicks. It must run in the family.
Maybe I’ll visit the next exibit and give her bust a pearl necklace, if you know what I mean. It couldn’t hurt, but could help a lot.
Here’s a spot-on description of Michelle Obama left by one of our regular readers and commentators:
