B. Hussein Obama said:
“Faith got hijacked, partly because of the so-called leaders of the Christian Right, all too eager to exploit what divides us.”
Doesn’t this sound at least vaguely familiar? Obama recycles and reworks phrases originating from the minds of other phrasemakers — like a college plagiarist. In this case, he “hijacked” and reworked the phrase many have used before to explain radical Islamic behavior:
“Islamic fundamentalists have ‘hijacked’ Islam”
Haven’t we all heard or read this until our eyes and ears bled?
Q: Who would be the most likely candidate to twist this particular phrase and use it against their own opposition in their own country?
A: A radicalized Muslim
Maybe even a Muslim who pretends not to be (or a syntactical lazy ass).
He also said:
“I don’t know what Bible they’re reading, but it doesn’t jibe with my version.”
Since when is the Qur’an referred to as a “Bible”?
