Louise Barry is a survivor of the 2005 London bombings.
She spent three months in traction and underwent six operations. When John Howard visited her in hospital, she asked him whether what happened to her was a result of the war in Iraq. This ad was made because, on the second anniversary of the bombing, she still feels the need to ask the same question.
This video appeal is EXACTLY the desired effect of the terrorist bombing. Which is EXACTLY why we should never respond in this way. Victim or not, this woman is a coward and an idiot. What if all soldiers did shit like this after being wounded? I’ll tell you “what if.” We’d all either be kneeling on our Islamic prayer rugs 5 times a day, or we’d be dead. The latter is the most likely scenario.
Here she is begging Australia’s John Howard to pull out of Iraq. It’s shameful!
This coward’s wounds pale in comparison to mine. I was wounded in a permanent way. I had to learn to walk all over again and I walk crooked. My legs still wobble and hurt. I will be disabled as long as I live, but I’ll never give a God-damned inch to the enemy. Ever! This is the difference between cowards and brave soldiers. She will always be a coward. I will always be a disabled veteran who gave no quarter to the enemy.
