Has the TMQ2 staff (and many readers) been too quick to conclude Barack Hussein Obama is universally loved in the Islamic World?
After encountering numerous cartoons on the theme of the U.S. presidential election campaign, Obama being the protagonist, and assuming these cartoons reflect the views of their audiences, it appears racism, and most of all Jew-hating (judeophobia) trumps Obama’s roots, name, pugilistic preacher, irreverent and loudmouth consort, etc.

It’s nice those Jew-hating Arabs think we American Jews are so rich and powerful. Truth is, the only reason people listen to us is because sometimes we make sense. Not all the time, but sometimes. Which is one hell of a lot more than you can say for those Arabs who are so drunk on Jew-hate, only sense they make is a lot of bloody nonsense. Could be in time even Obama will see that. Only thing is, he’s going to be too busy from here on in to actually learn stuff that matters. He got up in a whirlwind of his own design. Now, how’s he ever going the stuff that really matters? My hat’s off to him for getting as far as he got in breakneck speed. Not a one of us could have pulled off what he just pulled off. Now, let’s hope he’s capable of learning or listening. Problem is, he’s picked a lot of pretty useless people to listen to. I’ll bet they have great stories and know a lot, but by now those old advisor’s views are twisted and bitter. I’d like to think this presidential primary and then the all out race for the White House dance is really all it’s cracked up to be. I hope it really does have a way of picking winners. Surely, it isn’t just anyone who can stand up to so much criticism and keep on fighting everyday. It takes a quick learner. A natural. Clinton had a lot of what it took in the quick learner department. Bush has a lot of something else people have yet to adequately put in words. He’s far more mysterious. He operates on a different level than most of these politicians. How they operate isn’t what interests me. I care only about their stupidity. Jimmy Carter is obviously a first-class idiot. Here’s hoping Obama puts Carter to shame.
